AI Literacy is the ability to understand and properly use AI. If "knowing how to use a computer" was digital literacy in the past, AI literacy is the basic skill set for the generation that follows.

"The Ministry of Education is making AI literacy education mandatory for elementary, middle, and high schools" — this means schools will teach students how to properly understand and use AI.
