A shared shelf where anyone's Claude add-ons get listed for install
This repository holds the list of community-built plugins that work with Claude Cowork and Claude Code. The list file is regenerated every night from Anthropic's internal review process, so the repo itself is just a read-only display of already-approved plugins. Anyone wanting to add a plugin has to go through a separate submission page rather than sending code directly to this repo.
What it does
- Keeps the catalog of community-made plugins usable in Claude Cowork (a workplace collaboration tool) and Claude Code (a coding assistant tool)
- The list file, marketplace.json, is synced nightly from Anthropic's internal review pipeline; everything listed has already passed automated security scanning and been approved for distribution
- Users add this repo as a plugin marketplace with a command-line tool, then install individual plugins by name
- Pull requests submitted directly to this repo get closed automatically — plugin submissions only happen through a dedicated web page
- Links to Anthropic's own officially maintained plugin repo and a separate repo of role-specific workplace plugins
Why it matters
It gives developers and teams a single trusted place to find and install vetted add-ons for their AI assistant instead of hunting through scattered, unverified code. Because every listed plugin already passed a security check before appearing, users don't have to independently vet each one before installing it.
